·         Kaiser Permanente, through its Community Benefit Grants Program, has provided funding for nurse practitioners in PUSD. The $25,000 donation made to the Pasadena Educational Foundation will help to pay salaries of nurse practitioners in the PUSD's Student Health Services Program. Nurse Practitioners provide an array of health services to underserved populations through the district's health clinic and PUSD Family Centers, located at five district schools.  Kaiser's donation helps to ensure that school nurses are available to provide services at the health clinics in the family centers that are located on the most in-need school campuses that include Cleveland, Jackson, Madison, Loma Alta, and Rose City.
